Barefoot Beach is a unique, gated, beachfront community with approximately 700 homes situated in Northern Collier County on one of the best beaches in SW Florida. To the North is Bonita Beach Park and to the South is Barefoot Beach County Preserve, giving all of its residents access to miles of white, sandy beaches. Close to shopping and easy, quick access to I-75, Barefoot Beach is only 25 minutes from Fort Myers International Airport. This area was undeveloped until the 1970's, when Lely Development built some of the first homes. Housing available now includes villas, condos and single family homes. Gulf access with no bridges is available to boaters.
